According to my Miller family tree book I am a direct descendant of Jacob Miller who was born in Germany about 1702. He immigrated with his parents to Falkner's Swamp Pennsylvania in about 1714-1715 which was about 30 miles north west of the port of Philadelphia. In the 1700's my Miller family belonged to the German Reformed Church and when Jacob Miller was in middle age he moved with his children to Augusta County Virginia which is now called Rockingham County near the present town of Harrisonburg.

Hello Gary, this is David R. Miller of kit number 15364 and I found out a few days a go that I am a 24/25 match with John Alfred Miller who also is in the Miller surname DNA project. I have been in contact with his family and we can"t yet  tie in a paper trail between us but his most distant paternally known forefather was William H. Miller who was born in Virginia about 1785 and my direct Miller line was in Virginia at that time as well. Goodby from David R. Miller.
